I am Back!
Two month of intense pressure at work + one week of home renovation = Lack of posts in the past two month.
I changed team in my current work company at the end of January, and am back to my beloved software quality assurance role. However, it was a very busy team/product; and I am the only QA on the team, so you can imagine the pressure. After three month of learning and testing, things are finally getting on track.
With all the craziness at work, I decided to hire a contractor to remove all carpets to change the floor to cork. I am at a point that I cannot handle carpet anymore. It traps all the dust, although not visible, it doesn’t give me this clean feeling even right after I vacuum the floor. It took the contractor and his team 4 days, including changing the stairs to hardwood. However, it took me at least a week to do all the packing/moving/unpacking before and after the renovation. Oh boy, it was exhausting, just by thinking about it. However, I am very happy with the result! I chose Wicanders Nordic Panel Blocked Mocca, I love the cork flooring! It’s very quiet, warm under the feet, and much softer than hardwood. My feet can feel the difference when I step on the stairs, then on the 2nd floor.
I didn’t know painting a bedroom costs $300, so I repaint my master bedroom after renovation, using Benjamin Moore Balboa Mist:
And last but not least, spring is finally here! I did a lot of gardening for the past two weekends, I’ll share some photos next time!
