After I got home from my Mexico vacation, my Chinese cymbidium ensifolium – Yu Huan Fei is blooming. I bought it back in May from Tenshin Orchids, and I was told it’s relatively harder to grow than regular orchids in Canada. So I did not expect much other than just keep it alive.
These Cymbidium requires a very tall clay pot because its root system is much longer than other orchids. I took them outdoor in May, and they have been growing well under the full shade. The flowers are small, but they have a lovely fragrance.
Yeah, things can only go up from here.
