2017 Finished Handmade – Wool Top
Toronto has been in deep freeze this holiday, with company’s mandatory time off, it’s the best time to do some handcraft projects at home. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use up any fabric stash, instead, I bought more from Fabricland due to irresistible deal.
I always want to make this top. It looks light and cozy, but I haven’t been able to find the right fabric for it until 2 days ago!
From pattern cutting to finishing construction, it took me exactly 4 hours. No lining is needed. Pattern cutting on the floor:

Final look: I really like Japanese sewing magazine’s instruction. It’s so clear and precise, I almost didn’t need to use my brain.
