Dinner Cruise in Paris
Considering that a regular Seine river cruise costs about 15 euro, and I still need to find a place for dinner after, I chose to have a dinner cruise instead. Yah, sorry, I am not a fan for paying to take a regular cruise, nor get up to a tower; if there’s meal option, I would always consider it. There are three different time slots for the dinner cruise: 6:15pm, and 9:30pm for 1 hour 15 mins of cruise; or 8:30pm for 2 hour 30 mins of cruise. I thought the moving boat would not be a good place to take night shots and the sunset time was around 9:30pm, so I chose 6:15pm cruise, since I still got plenty of time for night photography afterwards.
Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise boats at the dock – very fancy check in process, with a formal boarding pass.

Menu of the night – I chose beef-foie gras, sirloin steak, and chocolate raspberry millefeuille:
My three course meal: while the beef-foie gras terrine was delicious, the overall plating was not too impressive.
Steak was very well cooked, tender and juicy, just right at medium rare; plating was very appetitive too. However, it’s a bit strange to me that the green bean salad was in a separate, and small bowl; maybe the chef didn’t want it to affect the overall presentation of the steak. But that’s ok, it didn’t affect the taste.
Oh, this millefeuille just made my day:

I thought the price wasn’t like crazy, it actually includes wine, water, and coffee. The experience and the view also worth something, right?
